Brought to you by Target Australia
What if I told you, you could go to one store, and one store only...and do all of your Christmas shopping in one hit. Well at Target, you can! It's a Christmas miracle right. The Warren family sat down together and chose their favourites this year...and there's something for everyone!
Baby's first Christmas
Let's face it...a baby's first Christmas is a fairly subdued event. They're not old enough to understand the excitement of the day, too young to rip open presents, and will most likely spend the day sleeping. May as well do it while wearing something super cute! Target has a huge selection of Christmas babywear, that will have your relatives saying "awhhhhh" at first sight! Make sure you take loads of photos on the day to record their cuteness!
Toddler time...when Christmas really starts getting exciting!
The Christmas tree is becoming really attractive to your toddler. They may be scared of Santa, but presents will be all mine, mine, mine!! Eme's top picks for toddler girls include a Minnie Mouse tea set, Fisher Price dolls house, a pink Dinosaur Train character, and Uno Moo! matching game. Eme recommends plush toys and baby dolls for your little girl, and a Disney Princess tricycle (with pretty tassels of course) for your little dare devil. As for the toddler boys out there, Seth recommends toddler interactive toys...such as the Thomas & Friends "Steam 'n' Speed" train (with real steam effect), the Little Tikes Big Adventure Action Fliers, and the Little Tikes Sandy Lagoon Waterpark. For more outdoor fun, Seth's picks include the Cars Bubble Maker, and the Fisher-Price Big Action Dig n Ride. For quite time indoors, Play Doh is always a winner, as is a super cute Monsters University Sully pillow pet.
What a girl wants...recommended by Eme
A plethora of pink will fill your little girl's Christmas stocking this year. If it's crafty, it's on the list...create your own snow globes with Glitzy Globes, design your own shoes with Crayola's Hot Heels, or perhaps build a scene with LEGO Friends! Nuture your daughter's inner diva with pretty dress up clothes, and a Twister Dance Rave game. Take the play outside with a pair of retro roller skates (featuring hot pink of course!), Nerf Rebelle, and Disney dive princesses. Dolls are always a favourite...embrace this year's hottest toy Zelfs, or play with favourite Lalaloopsy. End the day snuggled up on the couch with a fresh pair of Christmas pyjamas and a good book.
Toys for boys...recommended by Seth
This year it's all about electronics. Skylanders Swap Force will be high on his list...pick up the starter pack for your game console, or add a new character to his collection. Spoil your boy rotten with an iPad mini, and an iTunes gift card to get him started. Fill your relatives in on your purchase so they can pick up iTunes cards as well! Boys love to build and discover...try construction toys such as classic LEGO Star Wars, dig for dinosaurs with a Smithsonian kit, or create a working marble maze with Techno Gears Marble Mania Extreme! Boys love crafting too...an origami set would make a great stocking filler, add a Crayola Digital Light Designer, or further his iPad mini experience with Crayola's DigiTools Effects Pack. Water play is always fun, and your son will love playing with an Aqua Blaster, or challenging himself in the pool with Wahu's Pool Party Skim 'n' Score. After a full day of play, pop on some fresh pyjamas and read a good book. All boy's love Diary of a Wimpy Kid!
Winning presents for women...recommended by Lisa
This is where it gets a little difficult. Most women know what they want and they won't be backward in coming forward. If you're still not picking up on the hints...here's a few things that caught my eye. It's all about sorbet colours...handbags, scarves, stripey flip flops, beauty bags, accessories, and makeup gift sets in pretty pink...and I just couldn't go past the pastel unicorn...it's a wheat bag pillow! Select a Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Camera in a fun colour, so that she capture all the fun on the day! Kitchen appliances are always appreciated (unless it relates to cleaning...urgh), so pick something in her favourite colour. For me it's this hand mixer in Pantone's colour of 2013, emerald green. Why not pick out a bag, pillow and mat beach set...and throw in a novel to finish it off. Scan her bookshelf to see what type of books she reads...crime, romance, or perhaps an inspirational story. For extra special/personal, pick her up a little something from the 50 Shades of Grey collection...just make sure you know her size.
Top picks for top guys...recommended by Andrew
Thank goodness hubby pulled this list together...men are so difficult sometimes! There's something for every man here...the gamer, the outdoors man, the adventurist, and the man who likes to look after himself. The gamer will love this X Rocker Drift Gaming Chair and Grand Theft Auto V combo...talk about enhancing the gaming experience! The outdoors man will appreciate a new esky with pull along handle, bluetooth speaker to play their tunes, and a new pair of thongs (a great stocking filler). For those that love a little adventure, select some new Piping Hot luggage, and a GoPro to record their travels. For the movie man, pick up a quirky Star Wars t-shirt, and an action flick. For the man who likes to stay groomed, gift packs are the go...select their favourite scent, body washes and lotions, or perhaps a Remington Pro Pack Hair Cut Kit. Perhaps your man likes to sit back, sip on a brew and read a good book. Pick up a home brew kit so they can feel the satisfaction of making their own. Bathurst - Celebrating 75 Years of Racing at Mount Panorama is a visual feast and makes a great coffee table/bar top book. See...that wasn't as hard as you first thought!
If all else fails...pick up a Target gift card! That's the gift that keeps on giving...
