Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...now in Lego form!! {giveaway}

As a kid, I absolutely loved watching the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Those heroes in a half shell were totally radical! TMNT have seen many reincarnations over the years, and I love that I now get to relive all things "turtle power" with my son. Do you remember the theme song?


Splinter taught them to be ninja teens (He's a radical rat!)
Leonardo leads, Donatello does machines (That's a fact, Jack!)
Raphael is cool but crude (Gimme a break!)
Michaelangelo is a party dude (Party!)

Now they've been immortalised in LEGO form as well! Seth was recently sent the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles "Turtle Lair Attack" LEGO set to test drive...could his smile be any bigger? Let the construction begin...

Seth has his own method of constructing LEGO packs. He likes to rip open the first bag (love that LEGO break it down into steps, and you don't open all the pieces at once!), read through the entire instruction booklet, then set to work...then repeat with the rest of the bags.

Seriously...how fab are the TMNT characters! Love the expressions on their little green faces...

This set took Seth a couple hours to build unassisted. Every time he completed a section, he'd call out to show me. There's loads of detail in the Turtle Lair Attack set...

...and here's the end result! Seth was so proud of himself, and I'm pleased to say, this set is still together in its entirety. Usually they get broken up and remade into other things soon after completion. His Turtle Lair Attack is still being played with as is! Seth's verdict...the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle LEGO is an absolute winner!
