Scrapbooking trends come and go. Some stick around for a little while (fibres anyone?)...and some a here for the long haul. I absolutely love bunting...in any shape and form! I could add a piece to each and every layout. Here's a couple of layouts I created recently...
This layout was created for a 40 minute challenge held at a retreat I went to back in June. When you're pressed for time, ready made bunting comes in handy...just staple it in place, and keep on scrapping! These photos were taken at Taronga Zoo through the glass wall of the lion enclosure. This lion was so impressive in size, but so peaceful...lying down and taking in everything around him...yawning occasionally. I managed to get a couple of good photos by holding my camera straight up to the glass, reducing the amount of glare immensely.

Here's another layout created at the same retreat. A few years ago, Seth had to take a photo of me to school so that he could draw a portrait of me. Here's how he sees me...lol. I love that he captured my big sparkly earrings...even if it does look like an egg with hair wearing them.
I created this bunting using Elle's Studio "red pennants". I have one of each colour of the pennants sheets in my stash, and they look super cute attached to colourful twine.
What scrapbook trends do you love to include on your layouts?
Starting today, I'm hosting the Words of Whatever blog for the next few days! Head on over and check out some of my other scrapbooking projects this week.
