Each month leading up to the Camp Mojo retreat (July next year), they've been setting some fun challenges for the retreaters to keep us all creating while we wait! For September's challenge they set us recipe. Our layouts had to include:
- 2 x cardstock
- 3 x patterned papers
- 3 different alphas
- 2 photos, one must be larger then 4x6
- 2 pieces of chipboard
- paint
- staples
- string
- 1 x recycled object
I have used a mix of Jillibean Soup and Jenni Bowlin papers, and Scrapware chipboard. The chipboard has been painted with black glitter paint. Funny story about the photos...the reason Eme looks sooooo sad is because I accidently whacked her in the eye with my camera lens. She looked so beautiful with her pretty feather headband on, I thought I'd take some headshots. I was using my Dad's camera and wasn't used to how long the lens was. I got a bit too close! I managed to snap off a couple of shots though before I realised what had happened! Poor little chicken. oops. Look how gorgeous those eyes are though!!
...and I actually won the September challenge!! So exciting! I can't wait to play along with this month's challenge...using punches...excellent!
tfl, Lis.
