back to the real world...

Well, my business trip to Murwillumbah went by so quickly! It was so humid up there - I'm so not cut out for tropical weather. It was on the verge of raining every 5 minutes; thankfully it held off. They'd had some minor flooding through there in the days before we arrived, so I was very thankful there wasn't a repeat. We had a pretty bumpy flight home - was very glad to land! My kids were asleep by the time I got in the front door - I was busting to wake them up and tell them that I missed them, but I waited until this morning. Having a couple of days away makes you appreciate what you have at home so much more! I missed Andrew dearly and slept so much better last night with him beside me.

Here's my layout that is currently on the KSK portal - this month is all about outdoor fun and holidays, and features the return of eyelets. I had to remind myself how to use my setter, and now I want to use them on everything! As they say, everything old is new again...

Over at Scrapbooking Delights I am teaching a school holiday mini book of me class - the girls are having a great time finding out about their childhood and talking about their futures. I love hearing their enthusiasm for the topics. Next Wednesday night I'm running a Sketch Savvy class - its going to be fantastic. If you're in the Dapto area, make sure you book in.

Yesterday, the local newspaper published an article about our Girls Night In fundraiser - such a surprise! Great photo too by Janine. We are planning another Wollongong Girls Night In crop on 25 October 2008 - claim the date girls if you want to come along...more details a bit closer to the event. If last year's was anything to go by, this year's will be awesome!
