Finding my style...

I've been starting to think about what my style might be.  The way I dress now, will change dramatically once I get to my goal weight. There are so many options out there for thinner women, I was starting to get confused. How do I want to dress? How do I want to portray myself? I don't particularly want to dress provocatively, it's just not me.  I'm not in my 20's anymore...actually, I'll be 40 in a couple of years. Like every woman, I want to dress and feel sexy, not just in an obvious way.

I recently happened upon this image of Princess Mary with her children, and instantly I was inspired.  She looks beautiful. Effortless. Confident. A simple cardigan, and a flowing patterned dress. It speaks volumes to me. Casual, but elegant...practical, yet fun. It's everything I want to project. This is what I dream of. I want to play with the kids in the park in a willowy dress, with my hair loose and carefree.  Now to make it a reality...

I've lifted my game since last week's weigh in, and lost 1.8kg, bringing my weight loss during the last 9 weeks on the 12wbt to 10.5kg...and 15kg total. I'm really happy with that!  I received an email this week from Mish Bridges to tell me that I'm in the top 15% of participants for weightloss...wow! I didn't think I was doing that well, and her email was really surprising.  I wonder if the other participants feel as much doubt as I do?

My progress chart is on the downward trend again...hopefully it will continue that way...

This time around, there's no break between 12wbt rounds, and I will be continuing with the program. My hubby has been losing weight right along side me, and he is looking fine! He's lost 15kg, and feeling better about himself too.  Andrew's been giving the cross trainer a serious workout; toning up and getting fit. I can tell he's been enjoying it...and he's so much more active now.  I am incredibly proud of him and his progress. Between us, there's 30kg less fat...that's more than the weight of our son Seth! It boggles the mind.

As you've lost weight, how has your style changed?
