Several steps forward, one step back...

You can probably guess from the title and the quote below, that I've not had a good week. Actually, I lie...I had a GREAT week, but not in terms of weightloss. Last week, I headed down to Melbourne for a couple of days, and I gave myself permission to enjoy myself. I shared a bottle of wine with a friend, tried a burger from Lord of the Fries, and generally ate like a pig. You know what...it wasn't even that tasty! I had a serious craving for chocolate mousse, only to unknowingly purchase a vegan/soy version and it was wrong. Just wrong! lol.  It served one purpose though...it turned me off the chocolate mousse craving.
This week, it has been hard getting back on the plan.  After I injured my back, I haven't been able to move around much at all, and I've been consoling myself with food. Why is it so easy to break good habits, and so hard to break bad ones?  I had my second chiropractor visit today, and he's given me the okay to start exercising again...hooray! I now have a cross trainer at home, and I intend on making full use of it.

Here's a little something that's keeping me going...visual progress!!  Both photos were taken at blogging events, only there's 15kg difference! I'm so happy with that, and I'm feeling so much better for it, and so much more confident.
Does this balloon make my head look big? lol. Seriously, balloon hats are fun. I'm all for them...but never again will one grace my head! lol.


Keeping things real and honest...I put on 700g this week. I own it, and I'm okay with that.


Time to dust myself off...
