I was recently invited by Soup to participate in their Air Wick Aqua Mist project, and the opportunity to have a little fun along the way! More on that later in this post...Air Wick's new Aqua Mist is propellant free, with the fragrance dispensed by a trigger action. The trigger is really easy to use, and a little bit certainly goes along way, making this a very economical purchase. There are three new fragrances available:
- Magnolia & Cherry Blossom
- Wild Lavender Mountains
- Fresh Waters
Air Wick sent through extra bottles of Aqua Mist so that I could share them with my family and friends, and host a little blind sniff test...and gee we had a bit of fun! First up, I covered up the bottle labels so that they didn't know which fragrance was which. Then they each took turns sniffing the fragrances and filling out their score card...listing which fragrance they thought matched the bottle. To me it was obvious...Wild Lavender Mountains has a lavender lid; Fresh Waters has a blue lid; and Magnolia and Cherry Blossom has a pink lid...however there were a couple of decoy scents listed that threw the girls off.
We discovered there's more than one way to work out which fragrance was in each bottle! At first the girls sprayed each fragrance into the air, but the smells mingled together and that wasn't very effective. After spraying a little in the air, we found that the nozzle held the scent, so they could smell it straight from there. Another method tried was to spritz it directly onto the skin like perfume and take a sniff. lol. Logic then set in, and the trigger was unscrewed so the fragrance could be smelt from the bottle itself. lol.

Then it all got a bit silly...the girls linked arms and had a whiff as though they had champagne glasses in their hands. lol.
The kids wanted to play along too, and were helping Granny to fill out her score card.
The end result was the same for all of the blind sniff tests...everyone who tried it, agreed the fragrances were really nice and it was definitely a product they would try again. Surprisingly, the favourite fragrances differed for each person...showing to me that Air Wick has every one's tastes covered. Air Wick Aqua Mist is available from all leading supermarkets, so try it out for yourself!
