I'm feeling very loved up at the moment. In just 6 days time, I will gain another sister-in-law and I couldn't be more excited for the happy couple. Its got my mind swirling with memories of the day I married my best friend. Our day wasn't perfect, but a wedding is just one day...a marriage is for a lifetime.
The decision to marry is a very serious one, and I sometimes wonder if people marry too quickly without thinking that its meant to be forever...not just for now. I take my marriage vows very seriously. Andrew and I were together for five years before we made a lifetime commitment to be with each other, and we both work hard to ensure that its successful. We say I love you, and mean it. We talk through our troubles and never go to bed angry. We are thankful for each other. We are friends. We talk about the future and can't wait to grow old together. I know we are forever. We are one of the lucky ones...not everyone gets to share their life with their best friend, and not every marriage works out the way you had hoped.
