Its been a little while since I've scrapped, and I've discovered there are sure fire ways to find your mojo; new product to play with; new photos to scrap and using sketches. I saw this one on the Cosmo Cricket blog and was instantly inspired. I went for a visit to Sandra and loaded up on some Circa 1934 and set to work. I love the bold black and red mixed with the soft teal, cream and mustardy yellow of this collection. It goes beautifully with black and white photos. This image of Seth and Eme was captured by my sister during our photo shoot in February. This was taken moments before Eme fell into the water up to her armpits! lol.
I thought I'd try using some paint, it was fun getting my hands dirty (thx Crystal)! Once I'd nearly finished my layout, it looked like it needed some dimension, so I added a patterned paper frill across the page.
Here's the sketch if you want to have a crack yourself!
Oh it felt so good playing with paper and glue again. I think I might have to dig out my stash again tomorrow.
