Review and Giveaway | Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure

***ENTRIES HAVE NOW CLOSED***
This weekend Eme and I had the pleasure of watching "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure" together.  I love that Eme is a girlie girl and loves watching musicals with her mumma! I absolutely love that I now have an official excuse to watch them myself. "Oh yes, we're taking "the kids" to see the movie"...hahaha. I do love a good Disney teen flick...

You might remember Sharpay Evans from High School Musical as the queen of East High's theatre department. In this newest movie from the Disney Channel, Ashley Tisdale reprises her role as Sharpay.  Its now one year after graduation and Sharpay is stepping out on her own in search of fame and fortune on Broadway. Sharpay is still sassy, spoiled and super stylish, with incredibly high expectations...a penthouse with a view and a leading role in a new musical.

Well, she's in for a rude shock...nothing goes to plan, and if you thought Sharpay was bitchy and demanding, wait until you meet Amber Lee Adams!  Amber Lee is a great Disney "villain"...the backstabbing and manipulative movie star who'll stop at nothing to ensure she has top billing.  Sharpay offers to become her assistant and ends up running ridiculous errands and cleaning toilets. Yes, Sharpay cleans a toilet, getting the toilet brush stuck in her hair!! ewwwww, lol.

What's a Disney movie without a love interest?  In this flick, we get two!! Sharpay meets the super cute (in Eme's opinion...and let me remind you, she's only 5...help me!) Peyton played by Austin Butler, who's character is a budding film maker.  Towards the end of the movie, Eme started to get really shy, burying her head in my shoulder.  "They're going to kiss" she tells me all embarrassed. "No they're not sweetie, this is a Disney movie, so no kissing", I reassured her. I was wrong. There's a minor pash at the end.  Good for Sharpay, I say! About time her character found a little love.

The other love story is between "Boi" (Sharpay's pampered pooch) and "Duchess" (Boi's doggy acting rival). Two cuter pups you will never find. I was predicting puppies at the end, but I wrong on that account too. lol. Thank goodness. Not ready to explain the whole puppy making process yet.

Eme and I really enjoyed watching this movie together. The songs are so catchy, Eme was singing along to them all by the end.  I must say, the fashions and Sharpay's apartment were super fun too...think of a cross between Barbie and Legally Blonde, then add more pink and sparkle. If you loved High School Musical, you won't be disappointed by this next installment.  Check out the preview...
