Over at the Got Sketch 101 Class, we've been allocated some challenges before the classes officially start on 9/6/08. This layout is based on sketch 64. I just love the brightness of these patterned papers and embellishments. I especially love that journaling block - its from Elle's Studio. She has so many yummy bits and bobs over in her new online store - check them out here. Mum hasn't seen this layout of her and Eme yet, so I hope she likes it! Bad luck really, because I've already uploaded it to the gallery (lol). Here's my class example from my Kids Scrap Space class at Scrapbooking Delights. Last weekend all the girls made gorgeous layouts using Alison Ellis "Flights of Fancy" patterned papers and Bella products (and a little Blueyedezine felt for good measure). The girls come along once a fortnight and its a great get together. The average age is 12-14 yrs old, with the lessons alternating between learning a technique and doing their own thing with my guidance. If this sounds like something your child would be interested in, please contact the store on (02) 4260 8885.

quick update
I'm a little late posting these pics...Seth turned 5 at the end of May and we had a small celebration for him at home that weekend. Seth chose the alien cake out of the cookbook and I think I've done a pretty good job replicating it. Both kids helped sort out all the cool fruits and skittles (and had a lot of fun eating the left overs!). As I've said before, I don't bake, I decorate...so the cake is an un-iced sponge I bought from the shops and cut to size. I'm also lazy making icing, so thank you Betty Crocker! lol. He loved it, and that's what's important. Eme now tells me its her turn for a cake - sorry chick, you have to wait until September!

Nice layouts Lisa - love that cake!
WOW that is one funky cake! I love your "bestfriends" layout. The way you embellished the butterflies is amazing.
Love your take on the sketch! And the cake is just to precious!
I do like the page of your mum and Eme.
