blowing a gale!

I swear this morning we were going to be blow away! All the fences and windows were rattling - I just hate this time of year. Last night was bin night, so there is rubbish everywhere! Andrew's a smarty pants and waited until the garbo was right near the house before putting ours out. However, there is a whole heap of rubbish in amongst my roses from someone else's bin. Yuck. Also, somehow one of the sleepers under our fence got loose and of course the dog found the opening and decided to play next door at 5am this morning. Poor Andrew was out there in his jammies trying to get him back under the fence. We've since dropped him off at the in-laws for the day to play with Polly poodle (my new sister-in-law. lol). I love living near the escarpment, but the wind whips through there something terrible!

Speaking of pups...here's another layout from For Keeps that was printed in the Bella on a Budget feature. This layout only cost $4.00 to make - what a bargain! I have cut very thin strips of paper and threaded them through the buttons to dress them. And lastly, this layout features my gorgeous neighbours - thanks Anne for letting me use the photo. I don't know about you, but I do tire of seeing the same children over and over again in the magazines; so I asked Anne if she would mind if I scrapped her kids (and hubby) instead.
