Sethy-boy has been hounding me for ages to have a go at scrapbooking - inside I'm doing the yippee dance that he wants to join me, but Andrew would rather he be playing footy or something else similarly blokey. On the weekend Seth spotted this "Birthday" sticker in my stash and just wanted to create a layout with it...so here is his first ever attempt. I cut the cardstock down to 8"x8" (I'll find a cheap album for him later) and let him go for it. He chose the photo, went through my scrap papers and picked out a couple he liked, tore the paper just like mummy does, went crazy with his spaceman gluestick (thank you Pritt), stuck down the photo and added flowers and chipboard stickers. He even wrote down all our names. I think its a fantastic first effort and not bad for a nearly 5 year old. He's obviously taken a lot of mental notes watching me scrapbook over the years because I didn't help him at all. So proud.

layouts to share
Very quiet weekend, so nothing to report. Just dropping in to say hello and to share some layouts.

Hi Lis! I love the layout of Eme. So cute!!
Seth's first layout is great. How cool to have a little scrapping buddy. :)
And hooray for us both winning Elle's tags. :)
Gorgeous layouts Lisa. Seth's is particularly great! - but I also love the "He Said' one - the journalling is beautiful.
Alison

Seth's layout is amazing - and mummy's aren't to bad either ;o)
Seth's done a wonderful job on his first LO. Bet you're so proud. He has a great role model to learn from. Lynne D.
We had one of those weekends here as well - and totally enjoyed doing nothing in particular.
