I have had one of those weeks...computer problems, scanner problems, my card reader died, and a general lack of motivation. I have still been scrapping away, but not a whole lot I can share just yet. Here's my layout for stuck for last week (apologies for the crappy scan - see above). This photo was taken at my friends Rachael and Jamie's wedding a couple of weekends ago. We had a fabulous time and Rach and Jamie looked just gorgeous - will post some photos once I figure out how to use my new card reader.
Marley is also well and truly a member of our family now - the kids haven't been in their toyroom once since he came to live with us - that's fantastic - I thought they would ignore him. I'm even warming to him - he's a crazy little pup, who loves going for a walk. Plenty of photos of him to share too. He's finally sleeping outside in his doghouse (which I have decorated the front of with thickers - sad I know) and he's pretty much toilet trained - no accidents inside for a week.
Eme started a new daycare centre today - an ABC centre - weren't we happy to hear of their financial woes 2 days after enrolling her! She loved it there though. They won't have a full time place for her for another few weeks, so she will be dividing her time between 2 daycare centres. Hopefully this won't confuse her too much. She's also toilet training and loves wearing her big girl undies (pull-ups). So proud.
Sethy boy is doing fantastically well at school. He brought home his sticker book today - each time they excel at something, they receive a sticker. So far he's received 10, which is a huge achievement - I'm so proud. The school's system works like this...receive 10 - take book to teacher not in your grade for praise...receive 20 - show it to deputy principal...receive 30 - show it to the principal. As far as I know, they don't receive a certificate for x. no. of stickers, but showing it to another teacher is a big deal. Seth's already making plans for the next 10 stickers - so proud of him too.
I will update again soon with some photos. Cheers, Lisa.
