first day of school
Our little boy has finally started big school...he was so excited this morning. There were no tears, but he was a little clingy - I don't really blame him though because there were people galore at the school today. Seth's been allocated to Kinder Yellow, so he put his bag down behind the yellow witches hat, then we sat together during the assembly and watched everyone. He put his hands together during the prayer, but really had no idea what was going on. After assembly the kindy kids were led through the library into the school room. He found his name straight away and put his bag down and name tag on. Another little boy asked me to help him find his name and by the time I'd done that, Seth had found his chair inside the classroom and was already colouring. The boy sitting next to him said "this is going to be so much fun!". I guess that's how you find friends at that age - you sit down and there they are! He was having great time when we left. He's only there for 3 hours today, so I'll be picking him shortly, then we're going for a special lunch.

Aww he is such a little cutie. I love the idea that when you are little you just sit down next to someone and bam - they are your friend! Great idea.

School produces lots of opportunities for creating chaos and panic moments! It also means new friends and new experiences. p.s. love the LO's. Lynne D.
So cute! His bag is almost as big as him! I love how easily kids make friends. It's a skill we lose as adults because we are full of silly insecurities. Time to act more like kids again I think! :D
Love the photos, especially the one with him checking out his nametag, what a sweetie.
Congratulations Lisa!
Been seeing lots of your work in Mags lately, congratulations on that too!, Excellence in Design, you rock!
