The Fashion Festival is currently rolling through selected Westfield centres across Australia...sharing what's hot for Spring Summer 2012.  I caught up with the Festival at Westfield, Bondi Junction last weekend, and had a great time viewing the Spring Racing fashions for this season, as well as learning some great, simple hair and make up tips that I can easily incorporate into my own style. Oh, and I did a spot of shopping as well!

There's different sessions happening each day, so check the sessions and attend the ones that interest you. Here's a sneak peek into what's on trend for this Spring Summer 2012, and all of the fun of the Festival.  Keep an eye out at the end of the clip to see when the Festival will be at a Westfield near you!

The Festival isn't just an opportunity to learn from the fashion and style experts...it's interactive! Have a play with Westfield's new Style Kit to work our your body shape, to find your fashion style, complete your beauty report card, and to calculate the cost per wear of your clothing (maths for fashionistas!).  I love the last one...I've often thought if I buy a $150 pair of shoes and wear them everyday, I've gotten great value for money; whereas a $20 pair of shoes may be cheap...if you wear them only once, they're a total waste of your hard earned cash.

I had a play with the Westfield Body Shape Calculator. It's so simple...enter your body measurements and voila! Westfield will advise you on the styles that will best suit your shape, and what to avoid. Once you know your fashion "rules" for your shape, shopping for clothing and accessories couldn't be any easier. For the record, I'm a pear...the bottom heavy beauty ;-)

Knowing your style as a plus size woman can be a little difficult. Sometimes it's a matter of finding something that fits and doesn't look too bad...and it won't necessarily be your "style", but hey, it'll do.  That's changing. More and more fashion designers are catering towards the younger, "extra lovely" customer. I used to dread shopping...but not anymore. I had a play with the Style I.D...just to see what the result would be. It turns out that I'm a little bohemian...not surprising really since I've been coveting Nina Proudman's entire wardrobe for quite some time.
