Scrapbooking Sunday | High Tea layout

I have been creating up a storm lately, and I have loads of layouts to share (when the time is right). Here's one that is being featured on the Words or Whatever's Inspiration blog post this week!

These photos were taken at The Teahouse at the Camellia Gardens, Caringbah. Eme and I treated Nanny (my mum) to high tea for her birthday last October. We had a fabulous time dining on tasty little treats, having a chat, and admiring the beautiful gardens. To compliment my photos, WOW had the perfect pieces of chipboard...the Vintage Tea Set. I have used three 6x4 photos, teamed with pretty pink, yellow and green patterned papers and embellishments.

To coat the chipboard, I first coloured the bases white, then added pink for the handles, lids and saucers. I outlined each piece in a fine tip black marker, then coated each piece in glaze to finish.  I clustered the pieces together, with the cup/saucer and sugar bowl raised on foam tape, to add dimension.
WOW product used: Vintage Tea Set C1247

Don't forget to head to your local or online scrapbook store to purchase yourself some WOW chipboard! You'll be rewarded with a gorgeous filigree chipboard heart for free!  There's a great competition running at the moment...simply create a layout using the heart, and upload it to the WOW facebook page for your chance to win some great prizes!. You can read all the details here.  Here's a sneak peak of what I've created with this little heart.

Stay tuned each Sunday for more scrapbooking projects showcasing Words or Whatever chipboard!
