Over at Inspired Blueprints, we keep receiving requests for double page sketches...so here 'tis. This gem is based on a layout by Lynn, and features 6 photos that can easily be sourced from your standard 6x4 stash.
Take my layout for example...I dipped into my photo pile from 2004 and created a double page spread about Seth's first Easter - using photos I already had printed! Normally, I avoid creating layouts from special occasions...there seems to be too much pressure. lol. However, I found that super cute American Crafts easter egg paper in my stash and thought it would be perfect!
Look at that little face! Seth celebrated his first Easter by tasting a chocolate egg at 7am (yes, we are good parents! lol). After he'd had a little bit, we took it away from him and absolutely broke his heart! What ensued was a tantrum of epic proportions until we gave him another piece. I still remember him sucking back the tears and chocolate at the same time. Let's face it...Easter eggs are GOOD!
Speaking of Easter...its just around the corner! Seth has to give a talk this week about "how he and his family are preparing for Easter". Any suggestions??
Anyhoo...upload your takes on the sketch to the Inspired Blueprints gallery by midnight 31 March 2010 to be in the running to win a fab prize!
Cheers, Lis.

this is great Lis. You've inspired me to give it a go. I have tried doubles before and failed miserably - fingers crossed this one is a different story.
I've been eating plenty of chocolate in practice for Easter. :)
i have been practicing how to pack my scrap stash to get to the crop early hehehe
This is a stunning double layout, I love the story too, yes Easter is a sad time for chocolate at 7am, and yes the tantrums after refusing more. I love it.
