52 layouts 52 weeks

Yes, I took my scrap gear on holidays with us...you have to be prepared for rain days and quiet nights! lol.  I'm completely up to date with this project so far and I managed to do it by creating the layouts without the photos and printing them when we got home.

Week 2 of 52 - Brave
You will have seen this pic already in my previous post, but here's the accompanying layout.  Since I have major body issues, it takes a lot of courage for me to bear my body in a swimsuit.  I wasn't going to miss out on having fun with the kids and besides, nobody at the campsite knew us.  The water was sooooo good!

Week 3 of 53 - Pampered
My girlie girl Eme is obsessed with nail polish...her favourites are either pale pink or black. lol.  She decided my toenails needed painting too, and I was more than willing to let her have a go.  Mind you, there was nail polish allover my toes, the steps, her hands....hehehe.  They looked pretty good once I cleaned up.  I might let her practice again...just not with the black nail polish.

Week 4 of 52 - Help
Last week marks the one year anniversary of my need to take anti-depressants.  This may seem a strange scrapping topic, but I think its important for me to remember that I'm moving past the worst and looking forward to a brighter future...and also how proud of myself I am that I sort help when I did. I'm not sure how long I will need to continue to take them, but for now they are part of my daily routine.

Tomorrow is Australia Day, so I will take a photo during the day and document how proud I am to be an Aussie girl.  I am really enjoying this project and I can't believe how easy it is to scrap 8.5x11! I wish I'd tried it before now...lol.

Cheers, Lis.

I LOVE that you have chosen to scrap the little, every day moments. These are the most precious to me. The big events are great to scrap, but it is thoughts and photos like these that I think will mean the most to our children and generations to come. Beautiful work, as always. I enjoy your blog and that you aren't afraid to share things that others might be.

gorgeous work and I totally agree with Karen P.
I am a 8.5 x 11 fan too and I LOVE IT, sometimes it is hard to go back to 12 x 12
