Last weekend I went to the Scrapbook HQ retreat and had an absolutely fabulous time! I love hanging out and scrapping with the girls!! I managed to finish 14 layouts, as well as teach 2 classes and 3 demos...very productive use of time. This retreat's theme was "have a heart" and money raised went to the National Heart Foundation. We all wore shades of pink and red and decorated ourselves with love hearts - silly, but fun. I loved Tanya's glasses...lol. Each time we finished a layout, we had to wear the veil...lol.I won't share all my layouts yet, but here's a couple...This one is for the scrapjacked challenge (but I was too late to submit it). Funny story...this particular day I was teaching at Scrapbook HQ and I borrowed my Dad's car to get there (I can't remember why), anyway, its a whale of a car and I always struggle to park it...but this day I reversed it in and got it perfect first go! I was so proud of myself (lol) and I was telling the girls it was a shame to move it. Luckily I had my trusty camera in my handbag, so I got photographic evidence to show my hubby...hehe.
This one's for the current Got Sketch challenge and is based on sketch 69. The papers and embellies were in a recent Scarlet Lime kit and I've been busting to use them - they're so bright and happy.
The next retreat is on 22-24 May 2009 and they're taking bookings already if you're interested.
Cheers, Lis.

Love the layouts -- sounds like you got a LOT done. I'm impressed that you got to work on layouts and teach.
That is heaps that you got done. I have scheduled the retreat in my diary (something I can do even if I am up the duff), can you book me in when you speak with them next.
