layouts to share...

First up...here's my layout for sketch 2 for Got Sketch 102. I'm notoriously bad for not scrapping my kids birthdays - I manage to scrap everyone elses, so thought it was about time Sethy-boy got a go. I used my Glitz roller doodle stamp for the first time, and I must say, its the first time in ages I've been scared to use a product - especially directly onto a layout! lol. It took a lot of courage, but I did it and I'm happy I didn't stuff it up.
I went to the Scrapbooking Delights midnight crop on Friday, and had a fabulous time creating some layouts just for me. This one features one of my favourite photos from our family photo shoot last year - must be about time for some new ones! lol. I hand made the flower using a piece of fabric from one of my Scarlet Lime kits.
Lastly...this one is for Kim...I know how much she loved that ribbon (not) and I couldn't resist scrapping a page about her and I, using that ribbon. hehe. I actually really like this page - its bright and fun and those massive butterflies just crack me up.
Yesterday we celebrated Father's Day at my Mum and Dad's place. I bought my Dad this fabbo utility knife for his toolkit and surprise, surprise, he loved it (lol - my Dad loves every tool known to man and then some). Andrew was spoilt rotten - the "kids" got him a subscription to Top Gear magazine (car porn apparently), a couple of t-shirts and a massive toblerone. The mag subscription came with a t-shirt too, which has "seriously uncool" blazoned across the front of it (lol). Both kids made him cards and Seth's included a voucher for a big kiss - so sweet. I think I'll be scrapping that when I get a chance.
