My layout for sketch 3 features Eme and her baby Mica. Both of them are looking resplendent in their matching pyjamas, crazy hair and headbands (don't look too closely at Eme's messy face! lol). I've used some of Bella's gorgeous new felt and journaling blocks from the "me and you" range - just love those colours (think I mentioned that last post...lol). Here's my take on Sketch 4 - I've been saving up some event photos because I just new they'd throw a double in. I changed up the 6x4 photos for smaller prints so I could fit more on. The pics are from Seth's birthday back in May - we spent the day at Sydney Wildlife World. I highly recommend the visit - you get to get up close and personal with all the animals. I even touched a snake, lizards, and a massive preying mantis!Seth's school held their annual Spring Fair on Saturday and it was so much fun. Mother Nature put on a spectacular spring day for everyone. Seth indulged in some fairy floss and boy did he love it!
The kids even went on some rides - they especially loved the teacup ride. You can't really tell from this pic, but they both had massive grins on their faces as they went around and around. Next year we'll have to invest in wristbands so they can go on as many rides as they like!
Then on Sunday, the weather turned pretty crappy - it rained pretty much all day. Andrew did some o/t, so I took the kids shopping. There's nothing worse than kids stuck inside on a rainy day! We were walking past the hairdressers and on impulse I decided Eme needed a trim. Lucky girl got to watch High 5 on dvd while they cut her hair. She was so good. I think she's going to be a real girlie girl - she just loves having her hair done and wearing "lickstick".So that's it for now. Andrew's parents return from their holidays this week, so little Polly poodle will be going home - I'm sure Marley is going to miss her terribly. Then on Friday, my cousin Michelle is marrying her bff - its going to be fabulous! Can't wait to share some pics and do a layout or two.
Cheers, Lis.
