Last night (tight arse Tuesday) I went to the movies with Rach, Tanya and Anne - had a fabbo time seeing Mamma Mia. So much fun dancing in my seat and singing along - I was waiting for Anne to give me a quick kick to shut up! lol. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it. I saw the musical years ago and for the life of me, I couldn't remember how it ended - I think that made the movie experience even better. You'd swear blind the songs were written for the movie/musical and not the other way around!
There's this one scene (see pic below), where Donna is getting Sophie ready for her wedding and she's singing "Slipping Through My Fingers". I started to cry (yes I am a sook, but it was so moving). It got me thinking...I can't wait for Eme's wedding day (yes, she's only 3, but mother's think of these things! lol).
I am soooo buying the dvd when it comes out...in the meantime, the ABBA greatest hits cd is going back in the car (sorry Andrew).

I just saw this movie too but I took my 11 and 6 year old with me. We had a great time!!! This movie was great and I would love to see the musical!!
