- Today is Seth's last day of school for Term 1! I can't believe its been a whole term already. We are so happy with his progress so far. This morning he read a note to me that had been sent home from school and he got every word perfect. So proud. This week he's also had school photos, a mufty day and the cross-country. He proudly told me he came No.9 (however there were only 10 in the race - lol). He also got to ride on the school bus for the first time and he loved it.
- Eme is finally settling in to her new daycare and we've just been informed that the third day we need will be available in 2 weeks. It will be sad to leave her other daycare because the carers there are like family (they looked after Seth too - so nearly 4 years we've been going there), but it will be good for Eme to only have to go to one place during the week. She's also sick again and she spent the night in my bed last night - coughing and wheezing. I'm hoping she improves today because I really don't want to have to take her back to hospital.
- Andrew is finally going to hear about whether his position will be made permanent. He's been a contractor with the same employer for over 2 years, which has been hard. He tells me last night that he hasn't had a holiday for nearly 5 years! I didn't realise it had been that long!! So fingers crossed the news will be postitive.
- We went to my cousin's wedding on the weekend and she just looked so beautiful. Chris and Belinda were married at Glennifer Brae, then held their reception at Panorama House. My uncle and cousin both wore full kilts, which looked fantastic. Seth and Eme dressed up specially too - Seth in his suit and Eme in a gorgeous dusty gold dress. She even let me put curlers in her hair!
- Just back from SIA! Had a fabulous time - taught a couple of classes for Bella, went to some classes, made some great make'n'takes, checked out all the new product that's around and just generally had a great time. Bella have released an Elegance range and Boyz to Men range (which includes die-cut cardstock!). Here's one of the layouts that I've done recently using the new product.
So after a busy week, it looks like its back to normal in the Warren house. I'm teaching a kids class tomorrow at Scrapbooking Delights using the new Kaiser mini-album shapes (butterfly, tiara, car and arrow). Should be loads of fun.
There is also a weekend cyber-crop on at Karens Scrappin Kupboard - come and join in the fun - loads of prizes and great challenges!
See ya later alligators! Lis.
