Neutrals...not quite as boring as you'd first think!
Once I really delved into the world of neutrals, I found loads of images that really inspired me. Could I live with it 24/7? Probably not...but it would definitely make a nice break from the every day...
- Stunning in it's simplicity, this polka dot wedding cake in neutral tones, created by The Cake Girls would make the perfect centre piece. Sadly their bakery burned down last year and they're no long baking cakes...such a shame, but their inspiration lives on.
- I really love this Recycled Paper Heart created by Blue Tang Designs. The different neutrals pull together to create a really effective wall hanging.
- I've always been a fan of a "skir that works", ie. when you twirl around, your skirt spins up! This tulle skirt tea length tutu by etsy seller Sophia Clothing is just lovely.
- THE most gorgeous dresses by Maria Lucia Hohan, as photographed by the Cherry Blossom Girl...wouldn't they make a beautiful tonal scheme for your neutral-themed wedding.
- Pretty packages wrapped in natural and vintage materials, as seen on the Two Shades of Pink blog, would look so delightful under the Christmas tree this year.
- This neutral baby nursery created by Fleurishing for her twins, is the perfect example of an elegant space for your baby, regardless of their gender.
- Tissue fringe tassle garland created by etsy seller Pomtree...every party needs one, yes?
- I found this tutoral on How to update your barstools and benches on Liz Marie's blog. Love how she's styled that bench seat, and created the collage of white plates on her wall.
- Last, but certainly not least, this Minimalist watercolour painting by etsy seller Cathy Durso Art is one piece that I could invest in...and it would ground a few of those bright pieces with it's neutral tones.
