Aussie Curves | Leggings

This week's Aussie Curves challenge is all about leggings...the dreaded leggings! Usually I wear leggings underneath a skirt and teamed with a pair of boots for extra warmth, but that's hardly a challenge, is it?
I spied this gorgeous abstract print tunic at Autograph, and thought I'd be brave and add a pair of leggings as outerwear. Thankfully the long line of the tunic covered my butt sufficiently. Instead of feeling subconscious about the size of my thighs in tight leggings; I felt a little sassy!
The print on this fabric is so pretty...soft greys with punches of orange and hot pink.
I wear denim all year round, and this short sleeved denim jacket is a great transitional piece to add to an outfit as the winter days get a little warmer.
Drawing inspiration from the colours of the top, a cocktail ring and asymmetrical bead necklace finish off my outfit.
I have added an elasticised black belt to draw attention to the narrowest part of my torso, and to tie in the black leggings and boots.
Another transitional piece for those days when it's too hot to wear knee high boots...ankle boots with peep-toe detail, tassels and cut-out heels.
What I wore...
Tunic | Autograph
Leggings | Autograph
Denim Jacket | Autograph
Belt | Autograph
Boots | Rubi Shoes
Ring | Emerson for BigW
Necklace | gift from a friend

I feel brave enough to wear leggings in public now...maybe next time I'll splash out on a colourful pair, or perhaps ones with a bold pattern!  Are you a leggings lover?
