Mum stuff | What a girl likes...

Recently, Eme had to make a collage for school of all the things she likes, and it was a bit of an eye opener.  She went through a pile of old catalogues and magazines, cutting out things that caught her attention.  There was the obvious Barbie and Disney Princess pictures...then a whole heap of random stuff.

Down in the bottom corner she added some stickers she found in my scrapbook stash. The stickers are only one inch square, and it wasn't until later that I saw she'd drawn tiny drawings inside each one.

The top drawing has the caption "I like walking". I noticed she only drew three people...Daddy, Seth and Eme. Why...because I don't go walking with them. Major realisation moment. I am missing out.

What am I doing while they're walking together and exploring the neighbourhood?  Probably sitting on my arse feeling sad and depressed.

I think its time to rectify that!
