more Savvy cybercrop...

Last night I had a chance to create a layout based on Kayla's sketch for the November Savvy cybercrop. I just loved this sketch! So different to what I normally create. The only criteria was that the photo had to be more than 5 years old! Here's my layout. I've used Basic Grey's "Nook and Pantry" line together with a scattering of random odds and sods. I have cut the "Cookbook" strip paper up and layered it across the page, adding foam tape under some pieces to add dimension.

This photo was taken in 1976 and is of me and my first pet; a black labrador named Boz Scaggs...feel free to start singing the Lido Shuffle...lol. We called him Bozzie for short. Unfortunately he wasn't with us long and I don't really know what happened to him...might have to get story from Mum. Over the years I've heard that he ran away, and that he got a tick and died...who knows...but living in bushland, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a tick. As all good parents do, they glossed over the details at the time to save my sister and I the anguish of losing a pet.
