layouts to share

This month at Inspired Blueprints, we have released a massive 8 sketches! Here's my take on Sketch 19. This sketch was so fun to use...lots of elements with the focus on a single photo, which in this layout is a pic of the flowers my mum and dad sent me for my birthday this year. My friend Sandra also gave me some felt and challenged me to use it straight away, so here 'tis - the black journaling frame and strip are by BlueyeDezines - an Aussie manufacturer.

A big shout out CONGRATULATIONS too to Sandra who picked up the second prize ribbon at the 2009 Sydney Royal Easter Show! She had an entry in the Scrapbooking category and had to create a double layout, which included photos, a title and journaling. Sandra created an Easter themed layout...can't wait to see it in the flesh.

At the last minute, I also decided to have a go at this month's White with One challenge. The criteria were white with coral and add journaling on your photos.

So there you have it. This isn't a colour I normally use, so it was a good challenge, and once again I didn't realise I had so many shades of it in my stash! I even stitched my buttons!! Sandra would be so proud. lol. I usually leave my buttons naked, but decided they needed dressing up for this one.
