Hi y'all!

Hope you had a fab weekend...we did, especially since it had an extra day! Here's the wrap up...Friday night I joined the girls for the midnight crop at Scrapbooking Delights. I had such a fabulous time chatting with the girls and scrapbooking (more chatting than scrapping..lol). I managed to create 2 layouts...well, most of 2, one of them I'm still adding bits to and will share soon. Here's the other one I created. I'm starting to dip into my stash of older photos and came across these ones of Seth and Eme; more self-portraits, but they are so much fun to look at. I can't believe how little they are, especially Eme who just turned three!
The products are a mix of my Scarlet Lime goodies, and stuff from Scrapbooking Delights. Last month's SL kit had the cutest badges included and they look so adorable attached to the mesh flowers. Just love layering all those embellies together...
On Saturday, I had planned on going to the rock pools with the kids, Kim and Benson, but we got rained out...so off to the playcentre for a couple of hours for the kids to run around crazy. When we got home, we found out that Little Athletics had been cancelled, so we just bummed around at home - it was bliss!

Sunday was jam packed! First up, off to my Mum and Dad's for lunch (its my Dad's birthday this week), then in the afternoon we went to Jodie and Mick's place for dinner and to watch the rugby league grandfinal (so happy Melbourne didn't win!). We had a fabulous time; Jodie cooked a delicious meal, Mick tried to blow my head off with his home grown chillies, and the kids played and watched movies. We got home soooo late, but was well worth it because we so enjoyed ourselves.

Yesterday, was a bonus day off (Labour Day public holiday), so filled up the day shopping at Bunnings for plants, then Andrew built a vege patch for us. Can't wait to harvest our homegrown goodies...tomatoes, cucumber, celery, watermelon, lettuce...hopefully we won't kill it (lol). If it decides to grow, I'll post some pics.
